Click to expand. You could do about 1,003,478 different things. I do a few hundred of these things for a living. I wonder why there is a tendency to complicate things? Does it create more jobs and grow the economy and therefore have a life of its own? Why would you even suppose animation?
Or HDR for that matter? And why would you define panorama with a merely necessary but not sufficient condition - combining spatially? Though I.suppose., at a stretch, you could stretch 'panning' to sweeping vertically! But combining to make like a reflection would hardly be panoramarising. Why are you and the other bloke simply missing that people want some sort of montage; for the mentioned 4 it would be 2 by 2 either all in a row or all in a column. These are the simplest arrangements, why would anyone be getting their eyebrows in a knot over the matter unless: 1. They desperately needed to get out more.
They have such a modern Mac that they are left with nothing to do (the machines being so good by themselves) that they desperately need to puzzle over things. Look, if you want to puzzle over something, howabout solving The desert or The Missing King?
Click to expand.A panorama is a picture that is pretty wide but not so high, that is all. Nothing mysterious. If it has a lot of height and a lot of width it is called.drum roll please.a big picture.
A Widelux mechanical film camera that actually has a sort of clockwork arcing lens sweeps from left to right and places the image in a short space of time on the film. The arc of the axis of the lens parallel to the barrel the film sits on (it is not flat in 3-D space). It takes.panoramas. I have a 35mm one. Wish I had a 120 one!
They are a lot of fun! Click to expand. It is not my mind in question. The OP wanted to combine a few pics, what does it really matter quite how? If he wanted anything sophisticated, he would not be asking this question here in the first place!
As a matter of interest all those things that have been mentioned about stitching and this and that can be done in one image program. I personally hate the trend to be asking for a special program to do every particular thing that is wanted. Yes, sometimes they can save time I guess, especially if you are inexperienced. But then there's the learning of new programs (no wonder I get so few, I hate learning how to use them and given a choice, prefer to learn more about how to do with what I have. This then really stands you in good stead, you are more flexible and not so robotic this way. Now, as for the question of what is simple, surely 1x1x1x1 (either vertically or horizontally) and 2x2 tie for first place, no? And stitching, overlapping, upsidingdowning, reflecting, etc etc are further back in the field, yes?
Time for a horse racing joke: My horse was so late coming home that it tiptoed into the stable. Click to expand.A panorama is a picture that is pretty wide but not so high, that is all. Nothing mysterious.

They are a lot of fun! Click to expand. Your step 2 does not quite make sense, at least the first part of it.
But never mind, the idea is generally good. If you have anything that can manipulate the position of images on a blank sheet (word processor. Yes, spreadsheet, yes and quite appropriate given OP's wish for 2x2, mail.app, yes, just drag the images to a message to be sent window and arrange, two side by side and hit return and plonk another two down. Use space bar to space. Then screenshot (or I suppose print to pdf as you say).

While there's no exact limit to the number of links you should include on a page, best practice is to avoid exceeding 200 links. Links pass value from one page to another, but the amount of value that can be passed is split between all of the links on a page. This means that adding unnecessary links will dilute the potential value attributed to your other links.
Using the Nofollow attribute prevents value from being passed to the linking page, but it's worth noting that these links are still taken into account when calculating the value that is passed through each link, so Nofollow links can also dilute pagerank.
