Sony Sny5001 Driver For Mac
I`ve downloaded both softwares available on Sony eSupport site. The green led lights, but the screen stays black. I`ve tried to run 2 different programs at the same time using the webcam, just to be sure, and i obviously recevied the message saying the webcam was already in use by another software. Reinstalling the driver didnt worked too. Did that about 300 times already:) Sony doesnt provide drivers for Win7.
All they say is Win7 come already with the necessary drivers. My guess right now is that something else may be messed up, like chipset drivers, or something similar. Device manager shows 2 items with a notification icon: 'Unkown Device' (ID: ACPI SNY5001.SNY5001) (read somewhere on the web that this is a device for the upper keys like volume, stop, etc.) and 'Mass Storage Controller' (guess its the SD card reader, but i dont care about it right now). Im counting on you guys! Everything on this page is for windows 7, It sounds like this ID: ACPI SNY5001.SNY5001 is the function keys. Do you have all your updates via windows update?

Have you got this installed? Also what about the 'VAIO Camera Capture Utility software', did you see if that was on your system?Yes, but i was talking about the camera drivers:P. On sony website there are only 2 softwares, none of them containing drivers.
